Keeping in mind the COVID-19 crises and the nationwide lockdown, GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology has extended the last date to apply for its various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programmes to 30th April 2020.
Being the first Agriculture University of India, the University attracts lakhs of applications every year. According to the QS World University Ranking 2018, GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology was ranked 118 among the BRICS Nations. As per the Indian National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) it was ranked 52 overall and 34 among Universities in 2018.
Candidates seeking admission in Undergraduate courses have to be bonafide residents of Uttarakhand or the wards of J&K residents and the wards of Kashmiri migrants as well as Kashmiri Pandits residing in Kashmir Valley. They can fill the online application forms along with fee payment by 30th April 2020. Candidates can submit the fee online through Debit/Credit cards or Internet Banking.
The last date to print the application form/receipt has also been extended to 10th May 2020. Candidates are required to submit their application form with necessary documents via post in an envelope of size 12×9 and superscribing Application of UG/PG/MCA/M.Tech/PhD. It is to be posted in the following address so that it reaches positively by the due date.

The list of documents to be enclosed is as follows:
a) Confirmation Page prints out of Application Form.
b) Copy of Online Fee Receipt.
c) Self-attested copy of Uttarakhand/J&K Domicile Certificate (for UG only).
d) Self-attested copy of Category/Weightage Certificate, if eligible.
e) Self-attested copies of High School Certificate and Certificate/Marksheet of Qualifying Examination (candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination can upload/submit their Marksheet/Certificate before online counselling).
