The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has finally decided to reopen all the schools after July 15th. Amid the Coronavirus Crises, keeping in mind the safety and well-being of students, the schools have been closed since March 15th. The MHRD is preparing the guidelines for the academic calendar for this year.
As per the availability of resources in schools the government will permit either 33% or 50% of students, per day. Social Distancing and proper Sanitization will be mandatory for the students, faculty, and the entire school management. 50% of students will be allowed to attend school three days a week and 33% of students will be allowed to attend school two days a week. The rest of the days the students will have to study through the online platform.
Analysing the rate of the infection the decision will be reviewed at the end of June. The final date of re-opening the schools will be decided by the State Government and the School Administration on an individual level after accessing the situation and the date of reopening the schools may change.
