Changes in JEE Advanced 2018:

Some new alterations have been publicized in the JEE Advanced exam 2018 which are:-
         • The mode of JEE-Advance exam will be online mode only.
        • Only top 2,24,000 scorers of JEE Main 2018 exam can apply for JEE Advanced 2018.
        • There is a hike in JEE advanced fee after including GST.

Eligibility Criteria

If you want to register for the examination, you must check your eligibility criteria first. If you will not satisfy the given eligibility criteria, registration will be cancelled.


         • Indian Citizen living in India can apply for this exam.
        • PIO/OCI candidates can also apply for the examination.

JEE Main 2018:

        • The candidate should be among top 2,24,000 scorers to appear For JEE Advanced 2018(including all categories), and have to secure positive marks in paper 1 of JEE-Main 2018

Age Criteria:

         • Age Limit: The Candidates must be born on or after 1st of October 1993.
        • Relaxation: Five years relaxation is been given to SC/ST/PwD categories. These candidates must be born on or after 1st of October 1988.

Number of Attempts:

         • Maximum of two times a candidate can appear for JEE-Advance exam in consecutive years.

Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent):

         • Applicants has to appear for the 12th or equivalent examination for the first time in either year 2017 or 2018.
         • Candidates, those 10+2 or equivalent examination result for the year 2015-2016 were announced after June 2016, they are also eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2018.

Earlier Admission at IITs:

        • The Candidate must not have been admitted in any IIT earlier or accepted the IIT seat by reporting at the reporting centre in the past. Candidates, those admission at IITs was cancelled, they are also not eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2018.
         • Candidates who have participated to a preparatory program in any of the IITs for the first time in 2017, they are eligible for JEE Advanced 2018.
         • Candidates, who have paid the seat acceptance fee but not enrolled for the program are eligible to participate for the JEE Advanced 2018.

Performance in 10+2 or Equivalent Examination:

         • To participate for the JEE-Advance exam 2018, Candidates have to score 75% aggregate marks (minimum) and 65% (minimum) for SC/ST/PwD category in 10+2 or equivalent exam.
         • Candidates should be in top 20 percentile (category-wise) of the qualified candidates in their 10+2 or equivalent examination.
         • Candidates, who have given 10+2 or equivalent exam in 2017 but again participated in 10+2 or equivalent exam in 2017 then best of the performance, will be considered.

Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2018

This test is for those candidates who want to join B.Arch course. Candidates, After qualifying Jee-Advance 2018, are only eligible for AAT exam. The duration of the AAT exam is 3 hours. Candidates who meet the cut-off marks will be considered as qualified.
